Primate Inventory in Hunting Park of Mt. Masigit Kareumbi Conservation Area, West Java
This Field Biology Study activity is routinely carried out by every student in Universitas Nasional. This activity is divided into several groups of fields of study. I chose the primate study group with Winda, Ayu, and Naura. During this research, our primate group was guided by Dr. Sri Suci Utami Atmoko, who is our mentor lecturer as well as the coach of the "Lutung" Forum Studi Primata. In addition, we were also accompanied while in the field by Kak Lia and Kak Kevin, while during the data analysis process we were also guided by Kak Mutia. The topic that I took for this research is primate inventory, the reason why took this topic is that there is still not much literature that explains the condition of the primate diversity inventory in Hunting Park of Mt. Masigit Kareumbi Conservation Area, West Java.
This research was conducted on September 22-27, 2018. During this activity, we decided to do a flying camp in the forest for 4 days. This is useful for maximum data retrieval. We shared tasks in data collection, each of which involved measuring distances using a counter, writing data tabulations, determining directions using a compass, and documenting activities.
