My Research For Thesis (B.sc)

Vegetation Structure of Javan Slow Loris (Nycticebus javanicus) Habitat in Dayeuh Luhur Village, Sumedang, West Java.

The research for the final thesis took the topic of the habitat of the Javan slow loris. This was done because I wanted to continue the previous research that discussed the behavior of the Javan Slow Loris, but for the study of its habitat, it has not been explained. Therefore I want to take this topic. The location of this research was carried out in the village of Dayeuh Luhur Village, Sumedang, West Java.

In this research, I was assisted by several teams from the "Lutung" Forum Studi Primata, including Winda, Ayu, Ara, Cinta, Githa, Ishlah, and Arif and not to forget I was also assisted by my field assistant named Mang Opan. This is because the data collection includes plant vegetation data and identification of the loris forage trees which are quite numerous and extensive in the loris' roaming area itself.

After taking this data, then the data is processed which will later be written and presented in the results and discussion of my thesis. And because of that, I managed to get my bachelor of science degree with the thesis title Vegetation Structure of Javan Slow Loris (Nycticebus javanicus) Habitat in Dayeuh Luhur Village, Sumedang, West Java.
